  • This car has a stock stall converter when it did 11.867s - try to do it that way.

  • I will run a high 11 next week, in my '01 5.7 with standard tires and post it right here for your consideration. Fuckin fool.

  • We did 11.3 with a baby cam 4 years ago. I have a VX that is ready to run low 10s NA. Good luck.

The car is this video is still the best stock stalled NA VE range in the World.

    You have to try harder.

  • @OztrackTuning Well its obvious then ..... Your the best in the world

  • The whole point was that the 6l80e was a new box and so was the car and getting it to shift properly was the problem. It ran 119 mph so it was making HP. I am not sure how long it took for the yanks to get a VE/G8 down the track N/A in 11 secs let alone 11.6. But there hasn't been many 6.0L Ve/G8's autos running 11's on pump gas without power adders or trick boxs.

It should have run 11.5's actually but should off's don't count.

  • Theres a vid of me running a 12.3 on shitty street tires at 33psi.

If i light the wheels up, on 15 psi, and give it a proper dig, id run a high 11. if not in the mids.

Put a set of slicks on and well, you can imagine.

  • Bullshit .. not with a 6.0L and a 6l80e box he hasn't. All motor no power adder just regular pump gas. It also weighed in at over 1830 kgs. The weak point is getting the box to shift properly ...

The rims were 16" Omega rims with omega rear brakes and hoosier drag radials.

    cheers

  • I run high 11's in my 2001 5.7L V8 SS.

Your car is not that fast. I would boast about your tuning.

Iv got a pal with the same set up in his 2007 SS - he runs mid 10's.

the usualy cam upgrade, ecu remap, semi slicks, etc.

  • Hi there Mate, can you tell me what size steel rims are you using and what tyres?
