YS graduated from mealworms ages ago. The millis he eats now are much tinier and easier to gobble up. Here he's banging the poor worm against the 'sacrificial stone' we placed at the bottom of his cage to stun it.
Yingshiong's story is at http://shanlung.livejournal.com and http://shimmertje.livejournal.com
Ha ha. Yingshiong doesn't like mealworms either. We found a much smaller version that he preferred.

Out of 70 birds I could only get three of my birds to eat them and they were lady gouldians. The others that were supposed to like them looked at them like... You expect me to eat that? LOL They were live and I offered several times. Not sure what the deal was. But I understand that the health and breeding results are much better when they get them. I gave up.
