"Dope" by Complex - PC Demo (1995)

This is the video recording of the MS DOS PC demo "Dope" by Complex from the year 1995. The demo won the demo competition at The Gathering 1995 demo party in Norway and the folks of Complex were pretty sure about winning it, which explains the "World Domination" at the end of the demo.

As always, the "domination" was only short lived, until a new demo was released a few months later that would beat the current "best". Note to the effects... They are all done without ANY 3D acceleration graphics card, it's all computed in real-time by the CPU.

@GertUberNerd the song is dope.mod, you can google it and download it. You'll need a mod player but winamp or whatever would play it.

Thanks for uploading! I was just wondering, are the themes used for these demos custom-made? I really like 'em, and I'd like to now whether it's possible to get a song name, or maybe even a download link or something. :)

It was Gravis what brought PC demos to the (almost the same) level with Amiga.

I'l bet that still, there has not been greater demos with PC than Amiga when comparing MIPS!
