Story: Vaan leaves Rabanastre in a travel, to find a lost treasure in Lemurés. Due her work, Penelo cannot go with him. She misses him dearly, and thinks of him everyday... while she works, while she dances. meanwhile, Vaan reaches the floating islands and finds a magical sword. His task his complete.

He thinks of staying a while more, however, when he returns to his airship, he sees a magical crystal hovering in the dark, with a letter attached. The words are the lyrics of the current song, though she also asks of him to be careful. She ends asking "where are you", in a voice that seeps out how much she misses him.

Still with this song playing in his head, Vaan thinks. He crouches over, takes a bit of sand in his hand, and as it slips through his fingers, he daydreams of Penelo dancing.

He misses her. He misses her dearly as well. Therefore, he returns to her. And she feels that he is coming home, and goes wait for him. She shares with him a secret thought... that also lets him know how important he is to her.
