Monash FSAE, Car Swap, Pete Marsh (UWA) in the M10 w/ Goodyear Tires

This is Pete Marsh from UWA driving the Monash car at the Car Swap day at Silhouette Karts.

This was the first time we had tired the new Goodyear tyres (we usually run Avons), and as you can probably tell from the videos we liked them a lot. First time our car has done that 5 m lane change flat in third gear...

Thanks to all the teams who came down, (everyone book it in for next year), Auckland for the loan of the tyres and pyros, and to Pete Marsh for doing what what he does best.

Have you ever tried Hoosier tires? We're happy with them, their friction ellipse is more like a rectangle and they heat up quickly.

BTW, I think Pete would drive like that with any tires or tyres you let him use :)
