Al Jazeera has discovered that retired generals in the country are secretly backing groups involved in anti-Christian violence. They hope to weaken president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's government, which they feel is too reformist.

@idimdb Just because you don't like what you see doesn't mean its a good idea to ban it. If a comment is supposedly mere drivel, then let it be ridiculed in the free market of ideas. Even if 98 out of every 100 comments is not worth reading, the fact that 2 of them are should be good enough. Censorship of any kind is dangerous. How do you judge what comment is worthy or not? Sometimes, I really need to go to Indonesia to see for myself. It really is hard to believe how stupid and backward people can be until you go to Indonesia and meet a couple of them religious nuts. Thankfully, there are still intelligent and productive people on this planet who can help me sustain my faith in humanity. If only we as a nation did not take the path of Islam and remain animists and polytheists. I wonder how much more human and respectful we could be today.

@vincc Depends on where you are and who she is. You may be scammed out of your money and property. You may be beaten by her relatives and neighbors or you may be just fine and able to live safe and happy. It really depends on where in Indonesia you're talking about & what kind of family she comes from. Anyway, the important thing is not to easily trust people in Indonesia. It will be good if you've known someone for a long time to help you over there. Anyway, be very careful or you'll be burned.
