  • Man...that is very impressive! You a Lane grad too?

  • Yes, I graduated in 1980. I think Lane Tech was really important in my development as a musician (even if I was not a 'model student'). I always look back and laugh, because many people (including some Lane music teachers) warned me not be a freelance musician, but I didn't listen. Now I know how hard it actually is...I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're REALLY INTO MUSIC (which I am).

  • This music remind me the great Lyle mays' first album, Sir :)

  • This was recorded with the Zoom Q3 HD...

  • Hey Mark, this is Steven (one of the workstudies for perc). If you don't mind me asking, what camera did you use to record this? Looks and sounds great!

  • Perfect "Silence"..hey man~You guys create an artistic conception delicately!!

  • I am trying to get a friend of mine to friend you on Face Book(you are there, right?)His name is Charlie Campagna and like you he is a very serious percussionist and very much into Latin drumming(for lack of a better word)He went to Cuba to study their style.

It was very cool being able to watch you playing close up,where I could actually see what your hands were doing.

Thanks for the reply.Oh...BTW I was in the concert band at Lane in 51,52 and part of 53.

  • The bass drum at 1:13 is sick!!!!!!!
