  • Cool video. Notice the little kids laughing in the background of one of the class rooms. "Ha, he got kicked in the face"! lol. To funny.

  • @krautbeer100 bricks and boards are used to demonstrate accuracy, power, and often in tkd, accuracy in chaotic movements. it's visually obvious that this guy has skill. no easier way to show that than to do breaks. it's not training so much as showing. kung fu folk hit air, but does air hit back? do punching shields or bags hit back for that matter? of course not.

  • @stec52207 Some MMA fighters are true martial artists! Look up guys like Georges St Pierre or Lyoto Machida! You'll see that not all UFC fighters are douchebags! (^_^)

  • This is true martial arts; not that gay ufc shit.

  • @x2malandy External martial arts depend on strength. At 58 I practice Shaolin every day, but my emphasis is on Tai Chi. I was lucky to train under great teachers who showed me that power has little to do with physical strength. My main teacher was over 70 and weighed around 120 lbs. Yet 3 strong men could not move him nor lift him up. He could push me several feet with a short snap. I was around 210 lbs then. Find and learn from a master who can do this and your joints will heal as well.

  • @CTPa10 I have only seen one truly impressive breaking demo by a Pa Kua master. He stacked 5 solid bricks on concrete -- no spacers! You then marked any one brick in the stack. He hit the stack with a cupped hand without big preparation or concentration and only broke the brick you marked. The others stayed unscathed. He could also break the 4 bricks around the marked one, leaving the marked one untouched. The marked brick can be in any of the 5 positions. True skill!

  • @krautbeer100 You must be implying that Krav Maga is pointless then
