HOW DOES THAT AA INDOCTRINATION- MANTRA GO AGAIN
PHYSICAL ALLERGY (Just a MYTH, its never been proven, even in the
AA book: Doctor´s Opinion it says We believe, and so suggested a few
years ago, that the action of alcohol on these chronic alcoholics is a
manifestation of an allergy) NOTICE THE WORD "BELIEVE”.
MENTAL OBSESSION: WELL "LACK OF SELF-DISCIPLINE" OR "LACK OF
WILL-POWER", WHICH YOU SUDDENLY GET BACK IN AA, BUT THEN YOU
CALL IT GOD & GIVE AA ALL THE CREDIT !

“SPIRITUAL MALADY” RUBBISH !
IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT YOU JUST ABOUT CAN LABEL ANYTHING
A “SPIRITUAL MALADY”: IF YOU DON´T BELIEVE IN GOD OR, EVEN
YOU DON´T WANT TO BELIEVE IN GOD OR JESUS OR PRAYER OR....
YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM A “SPIRITUAL MALADY”, WHAT A LOAD
OF HOGWASH ! THE SAME GOES FOR IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN
OPINIONS & YOU DON´T BELIEVE LIKE AA SAYS YOU SHOULD BELIEVE,
THEN YOU ARE IN DENIAL OR SOMETHING.

That is right. Problem drinking is not a disease. It is a behavior pattern. We can find better ways to deal with life, and then the drinking stops.
The best choice I made was to leave the cult of AA.
Life is great now. I don't hang out in rooms full of depressed people who keep telling the same boring stories and moping around while insisting that they're "happy, joyous and free."

@40805 This guy is right. AA cons people into thinking that they have an incurable disease - a "spiritual malady."
It's not about freeing oneself from alcohol dependence. AA is about fooling people into being afraid that "jails, institutions and death" await those who leave the cult.
That's what cults do.
Better choices? The best choice is to leave the cult.
