I've never been to that camp (can't afford it), vut my best friend's gone for several years and is in War Canoe :) She's a Kiowa! I wish I could go to that camp so bad though.

Okay. Listen. It just drives me crazy when people insult stuff that I love with all my heart. War Canoe is something I experienced and I will never forget the feeling of winning. Sorry you don't understand the emotions we feel during that time period, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't post stuff you just can't understand. I don't do stuff like that, because I can't see it from someone else's point of view. I'm defending the entire camp's honor. That sounds cheesy, but that's what it is.

No. It pisses me off when people under/overestimate anything they've never experienced! Yeah, those boats may have had 10 on port and 10 on starboard, but that doesn't mean our 5 and 5 boats aren't war canoes. And not everything has to match your standards of War Canoe. The heart we put into those races is more than anything you could ever describe. Make sure you know what you're talking about before you post any condescending comments like "Those aren't actual war canoes." Kay, thanks.
