Not many people know that my ass at age 11 was helping red shovel dirt lay down chicken coop wire and cleaning up trash at Burnside 15 years before it was this stomping ground for every kid to move to Portland and act hard and to skate the park. People have no clue that Burnside was built by hesh as well as fresh and hippy to. It was not all about skulls and blood as many would like to make you think.

It is still evolving and Burnside at some point will take over the whole city I recken. It has never stopped reinventing its self and I am proud of my history with it.

You ever hear of a place called Pirate Town by The University of Portland In the Orange Abanded Building by the Willamette river & there is a skatepark being built right now, go help em finish it, it'd be hella tight when it's done.

Man I remember wearing clothes like that! I even had the U-bolts, I also had the bridgebolts that went longways...or was it the U-bolts that went longways? It's been awhile. Can't forget the tiny wheels that were more like bearing covers
