Left Side Versatility in Practical Applicaton

Many have seen the "Left Side Versatilty" video that I put out a while back and there have been many questions. The most frequent and relevant question has been "how can I use this type of beat / technique in a song" I put this together with an "Ambient" pattern on my TD-20 (Pattern #73) and then played over the top of it. The pattern is a repeating 8 bars. I used the basic "Studio Kit with a few tweaks and the addition of the left side bass, china and piccolo snare sounds.

Heyy man! awesome video. listen i was wondering what kit you have (minus the add-ons) cus imma drummer and i play drums for my church and we have the same kit.. and i cant seem to find it :P its a Roland ________ ?

Thanks for replying Bazy,{I have the same set up as you but its yamaha,couldnt afford the roland,I started playing when I was 13 and was in many bands even played the Hacienda once in Manchester New Order were on the bill.Then I quit due to life,but went back to playing 5 years ago Im now 47 years young,and I only play for my own enjoyment.

bazy havent seen u in years it feels like lol, i used to live in naples and now in hawaii drumming with a sick local rock band, you have a rare td-20 kit now, cause now theyre like 7grand now, i cant see many people buying this kit, roland isnt as affordable as they used to be. i love the kits but price is not for the average joe. fizz gack gack flam tap tap drag-keep on drummin!
