  • What is that annoying chirping noise all through this video?

Someone please put up a better version of this great song!

  • @dtblack123 Sorry for that noise! This is what I have. I thought you would like to see it. That's all. Forgive me for posting it!

  • i wanna have breakfast and smoke cigarettes with joni mitchell.

  • Could be wrong, but I think this song first appeared on the album, 'Court and Spark.' I still thinks that's the best cut of this I've ever heard.

  • Brilliant, hilarious lyrics.

  • the 1 dislike is from contemporary music

  • court and spark was the best version! they were rushing it that time, probly wanted to go back stage and smoke cigarettes with jeffsdolphin

  • court and spark was the best version!

  • The studio version WAS up some time ago...I love this version & thanks for posting...the chirps R annoying!

  • Of all of JM's backup bands, I think Tom Scott did the best job of reminding the guys they were backing up a singer.

  • @ckovertime pay them no mind...this is energy and JM in a rare comedic side. Worth every penny we paid to see it!

  • That is a great live version of this song. I thought it was going to be one of her experimental variations, until it kicked into high gear.... I didn't appreciate Joni Mitchell when I was younger, but now I believe her to be one of the absolute top singers and song writers in music history. My wife and I play some Joni Mitchell in our duo and even though the bar was packed with youth, it was the Joni Mitchell that they loved and appreciated the most. See? Kids do know great music! What chirp?

  • great post--this songs a favoutire of mine!
