You can buy a new two bedroom condo blocks from the ocean on Chacala Mexico for $200K or less. There is a Costco, Bestbuy, Home Depot and Sam's club within 45 minutes and a new American style hospital within 20 min. chacalahomes com

This is nice, Americans should start coming to living in Mexico, is cheaper and nice.

My city Chapala in Jalisco North-Occidental Mexico have a los of americans living here, they are pretty much retired people and some young people live here to.

Americans you are welcome, the only sad thing is that your government is discriminating mexicans.

The cost of living is much cheaper in Mexico. Taxes are low, real estate is reasonable but do not look for the American style homes in Mexico. They are far and in between. Laws and regulations are 4.5 as opposed to a 10 in the US. All and all, living is much easier in Mexico.

I don't think the America's should require passports because that is the way the natives were used to it being, and they had a lovely ecosystem and pure water lakes. Their land was sacred to them and all the creatures in it. We should continue that native american tradition and stop the borders and passports. Americans and south and central americans can be in harmony with one another without prejudices, "I HAVE A DREAM".

I am not even close to retiring, but I would do anything to get the fuck out and stay out of the USA. This place is freaking dump, with bullshit politics! Q meirda! Anyways, Im running into alot retired gringos in small towns, away form Miguel Allende and Chapala, and they fit right out. Im dying to move to Mexico, but I got a pathetic state job and a family to provide for here.
