  • 8 DAYS in the bush--That's no BS! And humping those sleds is never easy even on flat ground, reminds me of my video "Snowshoeing the Tiffany Mountain Trail Christmas 2010" It looks like your group is a ton of fun to go with. For those of us who need a US reference, Montreal is north of what we know as New York/Vermont/New Hampshire

  • Hi Mark,

Thanks for watching. Your comment is a good reminder that some people like to see a map to go along with the video. Your reference to the city of Montreal (province of Quebec) is correct - north of NY, but we were on the Montreal River (province of Ontario). A better US reference for this trip would be Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan: we were about 2 hours north and 6 hours east of there.

  • Yes, thanks. Looking at the map, it looks like our "Land of 10,000 Lakes" should be expanded to about 10 million, clear to Hudson Bay. I am located in central Washington State, about 50 miles (80km in "real" measurement" south of the BC border. Much drier and a few more hills here, I gained about 5042 feet/1540 meters on my Christmas hike. Take a look at my channel if you like. Thanks, Mark
