Pal's Sudden Service, a regional quick service restaurant chain in Tennessee and Virginia, is the first foodservice company ever to receive The Malcolm Baldrige Award. This is the first of seven television spots that celebrates what makes Pal's unique... a playful attitude and the best people.

The blindfold is to demonstrate that Pal's employees can do their jobs blindfolded.
Which they actually can. I work there.

hey smart guy, of course that one's going to look better... because it's simply been made.
if they made your sandwich on a platter and handed it to you, that's what it'd look like, but they normally package it, throw it in a bag with whatever else you ordered, and then take it to your sorry ass, only for you to come here and bitch and whine about it later.

That "Orvile Redenbocker" is Pal Barger, who founded the Pal's those 50 years ago. He of all people would know what the image of Pal's should be. I think Pal's IS cheesy and comedic. That's the fun. C'mon, giant hot dogs and hamburgers on the bright aqua buildings? I know that Pal's is very serious, however, about quality. I think the commercial portrays this while having fun at the same time. How many other fast food restaurant would be brave enough to show their kitchen?

What's up with the orange and blue clown shirts that make you look like a cheap McDonald's rip-off? It looks like the whole thing cheapens the image that Pal's has set for itself over the years by lowering their standards.... why do you need a commercial now when it's worked for 50 years without one? I would expect a lot higher quality of a commercial from Pal's, not a cheesy-semi-comedic skit that has nothing to do with what Pal's has portrayed in the past.

My question is what does the blind fold have to do with anthing or is it the fact that they dont want to see the Orvile Redenbocker wanna be in the car? Plus I've been to pals many times and NEVER had a sandwhich look like the one they show .Have you ?
