To add to that, because space ran a little low, since I am tone deaf, my ear for music is skewed. But, it does not mean I can't enjoy good music. When I listen to music, I make sure I stay with the beat to see if it's a god beat for my taste and see if the vocals are good. That's how a judge a song. You obviously judge it like it's some sort of contest.

Mister? You're convinced I'm male? You're cute. So, there is only a small difference between techno and Dubstep, still close enough. And sure anyone can take any pieces of a song and smash them together, but then it will wind up being choppy. Only a person who is not tone deaf can put sound bytes together and actually make it sound good. I am mildly tone deaf myself, so with that being said, only those with an ear for music can splash things together and make it sound good.

@ManiacalTerror techno rhythmic component is most often in common time (4/4), where time is marked with a bass drum on each quarter note. This... is no where near your "classification" of techno. Nor is any dubstep song.

There is no skillset in taking sentences from others books, and compiling it into your own book. Just like there is no skillset in taking random soundbytes and samples and calling it music.

Go take your own advise, break out of your shell mr anti-mainstream. Get a clue.

Agreed, dear. People baffle me sometimes. I know sometimes I don't like mainstream anything because it's always too.. Blah to me, but this is the first mainstream thing I enjoy! So, if someone like me who's never liked mainstream anything can like something mainstream, than anyone can get outta their stupid little shells and take that jump! :3

"Recycled" or not, music is STILL music. If it has a beat and singing into it (Mechanical or not), it's music. It does not matter if it is revolving around sound samples all the time. That's all any type of techno is. And that's what Dubstep is, just techno; mechanical sounds that are smashed together to create a likable beat to the ear. Preferences of this techno are never the same.

Just because you cannot "feel" Skrillex, doesn't mean no one else can. So crack all you want.
