@Clova03 No it wasn't - when you record things without proper sound equipment the high notes screw with the speakers. I'm pretty sure he hit the note, the camera's speakers just weren't good enough to get it undistorted. It happens more often then you'd think.

I'm pretty sure this was at a tribute deal for JRB, fairly informal. Norbert Leo Butz sings from a sheet of paper in some of these songs too.

maybe it was just a spur of the moment thing, maybe he got nervous maybe he was tired, or perhaps he was called in at the last minute to do the show? him being the professional that he is, i'm sure there was a reason for it.

You read the words, you read them over and over again until they're memorized. There are no issues unless your IQ is less than that of a dandelion. I hate it when singers think they can just not memorize lyrics and people accept that from them....

I'm sorry... @ 4:30... that note was UNDER. You either go for the gusto and knock it out, or cleverly cheat. Isn't there even ONE performance of this song on YouTube where the singer knocks it out?! Just ONE?! Can't ANYBODY compete with Ty Taylor???!!!
