@BoredLikeHelI I'm not a F1 fan or have any info of the car but one thing I notice that they don't have handbrake and too much power. Which is obvious answer but there is some video where Kobayashi slide the F1 car. But I can't agree "drifting through a turn is MUCH slower than braking, taking the turn, accelerating", because modern WRC cars can go faster around the hairpin just using the handbrake. But all I wanted to know is why "Group B cars didn't use the handbrake" not another question -.-"

@hashrulsubzero and if youre talking about the road hairpin then you obviously dont drive ("drifting" through a turn is MUCH slower than braking, taking the turn, accelerating....why do you think f1 cars NEVER drift?)

@MultiGiuanni , beh dire che sulle auto da rally di oggi il pilota fa poco niente, forse è un pò esagerato... Serve tanto "capacità di guida" anche oggi giorno, certo il paragone con il gruppo B non si può fare. Da un giornale dell'epoca una volta ho letto che un pilota di gruppo B affermo che le auto di allora erano veri e propri "mostri indomabili". Fu per questo motivo che il tutto fu soppresso, perchè le capacità ed i riflessi umani non bastavano più per controllare quei bolidi.
