I don't think illegal immigrants should be able to vote when they are not even legal citizens. I don't think we should continue giving them social services even while we know they are illegals. I believe that if someone is hungry especially a child, we should feed them but then get them on the next bus home. I believe in filtering, not blocking immigration. Americans are intelligent, compassionate, open minded, value driven people who have huge, heavy fists but even bigger hearts.

To make myself clear, we need to protect our borders because there are real threats, be it child molesters, murderers or terrorists. I am in support of fair legislation that will fix this problem without taking it to the racist redneck extreme like I see here in my home state. Most of the people crossing are sacrificing everything just for a chance of success in the Great United States of America. As did many of your ancestors after the discovery of the "New World".

It's a felony because white men made it one after they had themselves wrongfully taken the lands of the Native Americans and of Texas which was Mexico before Stephen F. Austin convinced the Mexican Government into letting him and others settle here. After a while, like white men did at the time, they considered what was loaned to them as thiers. Shortly after with the War ending in San Jacinto, Texas became a republic, then later joined the Union. By the way, I am a white man. But lets be real!

i understand your point of view and respect it. but, the land wasnt wrongfully taken, it was simply taken. the americans and texians were stronger than the previous inhabitants and took the land.

in the history of humanity, no people anywhere are simple entitled to land based on where they live. people must be able to defend their land to retain it. the indians, sadly, could not defend against the settlers.

Let's see they (the Native Americans and the Jews) were two groups of people, both were mistreated and discriminated against by other people who invaded their lands and who thought they were superior to them, they were rounded up and sent on long marches to holding camps. The similarities are eerie. Look I'm not a Native American so I don't have a personal issue, just an acknowledgement that what was done was complete and absolute evil.
