I love this show but agree that this was frustrating to watch. Dave clearly has little understanding of acoustics and seemed bored by the discussion - every time we were to be delivered some invaluable advice Dave butted in with the same old acoustic fallacies. Love the series otherwise but drove me nuts..

2 Comments this week! ITL has really got me thinking. I asked for this before, but this is a perfect time to again. Two suggestions that would mean a ton to me: 1) Do a whole show version ITL - because this was just gold. Maybe you could mix a whole song - rock maybe with less tracks to fit one hour. No need for all your tricks, just fundamentals for we rookies. 2) Please do an ITL of common mistakes people make in mixing. I feel like I am making them all! Whatever happens, show is fantastic!

This video confuses me.... is Dave pretending to be stupid? Thomas is explaining things clearly and Dave just goes uuurrrrrrmmmmmm and completely fails to understand any of it.......

LOVED the ITL. I've recently treated my own room with traps and just finished with my backwall. I put the traps 5 inches from the wall. Amazing difference.The interview could be better, I agree that Dave should let him finish talking. The batters box was one of the best. I've been thinking a lot lately about buying the hardware version of 1073 and some of the other plug-ins Dave recommended, now I'm definately going to try the software also before I decide what to get.

it is very interesting that, when I was just starting to mix ( I am stil learning by the way) I wold do this ( this was when I didn't have protools , or other Daw , Just like a free one , and didn't have, multitracks drums just loops , very nice to wach that . and Thanks again for your generosity to share your experience , Great !!!.

Late post but late than never.. Love this show but on The SSL G Buss Compressor I think the UAD one sounds more musical than the WAVES.

Even Phil Tan on his recent interview said the UAD one sounds more Analog to him than the waves one.

So to me having Demoed both for a week on Mix Buss.
