New Innovation Strings Psycho Slaps played acoustically on King Doublebass Slap King (8mm action at end of fingerboard, low action at nut. Thick gauges, low tension. Not the best playing, still learning so save any negative criticism for someone who cares.

No, not necessary, though I have tuned them down to DGCF now, hadn't done so in the video though.

Damn boy you's slap-happy. I don't know anything about up right bass but I am sure I haven't heard anything like that before. I suppose it could get mixed in with percussion and folks who don't know any better wouldn't notice. Anyway I was impressed... if you care :)
