Bio:
Burden My Surrender takes you all over the spectrum by combining powerful pop vocals with heavy alternative metal stylings. Forming in 2008, the band has since been busting down the doors of the live music scene in the Northeast. Their live performances channel Britney Johnson's unyielding melodies with the energetic road-seasoned guitar work of Mat Marsiglio and Dale Schoonover layered over a backbone of booming percussion provided by Brad Buffington. They have performed with countless national acts including Hawthorne Heights, Miss May I, and Whitechapel to name a few. The band has been featured in the February 2011 issue of Music & Noise Magazine as well as placing 2nd in ECI's Battle for Vans Warped tour 2010. With explosive originals like "Rip and Tear" and "For What It's Worth" as well as their ear catching covers of "Poker Face" and "I Kissed A Girl", Burden My Surrender is a band that you don't want to miss!!

My brothers and a few friends of ours went to this charity event near our hometown(concerts are rare near there cuz we are in VERY rural northern PA) and while one of the bands was onstage my BFF and i were in the bathroom and we were talking to Britney, at the time we'd never heard of Burden My Surrender. Then a few minutes later Burden got on stage and My BFF and i looked at each other and were like, Holy fuck! we were JUST talking to her! and then we heard them play. We were fans instantly.
