Roo (was Foxy) our foster dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue

This is Roo (on the site as Foxy) who came into foster with 2 other Papillons from the same family in December 2009. I managed to rehome the girls quite quickly as they were much more settled dogs than Roo.

Roo is terrified of strangers - even visitors who have been to our home several times still can't get near him! If anyone passes us out on a walk he goes balistic - trying to run away - wrapping himself round my legs. In the home he will run as far away as possible and yap constantly. If made to stay in the same room as visitors he will pin himself in the farthest corner and freeze, or pace back and forth looking for an escape route.

At home he is quite happy with myself, my husband and my 16yr daughter - but he still has issues with my 17yr old son :(

He will also fear bite when being handled - but I have been working hard with this and I can now groom him and check his teeth without fear of losing any digits - but it does have to be done in a particular way - and really really calmly!

He is my little shadow and is forming a very stong bond with me!!!!!!!!
