something wrong with that engine, my m43 can do 7.8 seconds standard engine

@liebelicht man only 318;316 not fast but 320D or 330cd/330d they are strong too the commonrail motors its good i have one with 290NM 140 HP its just amazing man i made 240 km/h with mine 320d its economyc good for drive fast enought but 316 or 318 are very slow.. i made 100 km/h like 7-8 seconds

I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

because it's an automatic. manual shift will bring you to top speed faster.

Mine (also M43-powered) does it in low 10 seconds. Manual transmission, however.

Its really really slow. Goes like 90-95 hp, not 140.

bmw under 325 is not fast...
i have a 328i e36 and its good... but weaker ones is shit... ok the driving is also ok... but its not strong... i hope u understand...

It is not shit, ok the M52 is better (I had one too), but this is enough for now.
