This is the internet legend "Peelerboy" in his Sublime Green 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 automatic way back in around 1984 doing some nice burnouts.

  • are these all you cars onebadsuperbird? by that i mean the 71 cuda, the bird, the challenger.

  • The same guy who owned the red '71 Cuda ragtop owned this Challenger too. He sold this car in the mid-1980's too. The two '69 GTX's, the two '70 GTX's, the white Superbird, the blue Daytona and the Jeep pickup were mine. O still have the two wing cars and the Jeep (and another Superbird) but all the rest of the cars were sold many years ago.

  • yea im lucky enuf i inharited a 72 demon 340, im not real technical on the terms, we all call it either posi, locker, suregrip, what ever rolls off the tounge, theres nothin like the old mopars

  • Ya got that right! That's way cool on inheriting the Demon. Take good care of it!

  • @OneBadSuperbird lol im mopar all the way live for it swear by it mopar or no car if i had no choice but to move on another planet and there was no mopar only ford and chevy, id pick ford,, but then again,,, id maybe just walk... hahaha

  • wow a 340 can doo that?

  • @iplayveryloud Yup, I've had abour a dozen Fords over the years too. I currently have a 1992 Mustang LX as a spare car. It's a fully loaded and rust-free car from Arizona.

  • @iplayveryloud G.M.'s are OK. I've owned over 100 Cnevy and GMC trucks over tne years including seven brand new ones. A few Chevy cars including a new '87 IROC-Z 5.7 TPI a loaded 04 Cavalier LS Sport and a new '87 Buick Grand National. The only G.M. I have now is a '72 Chevy Vega Kammback wagon. It's a back-half chassis car with tubs, cage, ladder bars, 19.5/33's, small block Chevy, etc. A fun car that was one of the street racers to beat in Detroit back in the day.

  • Well, I'd say it's a little late for that now. This video was shot in 1984 {when you were just being hatched) and the owner sold the car a couple years later (when you were still in diapers). Thanks for the suggestion though. I don't know why we didn't think of that! Oh, and by the way, "posi" is a G.M. term. The correct Mopar term would be "Limited Slip".

  • put a posi in it,
