  • He's smart, and hot....

  • @ouch2112 just like the Japanese internment camps that we had during WWII. :]

  • Americans are so proactive, they do it because they can. I wish I can be there to see them surrounding the stadium.

  • @brycecoder John Smid wasn't the founder of Love In Action -- we was a director, yes, but not the founder. According to Wikipedia "Frank Worthen, John Evans, and Kent Philpott" founded the camp.

  • I think that Love in Action might cease to exist, due to the fact that John Smid (the founder) is openly gay now.

  • @bobyson33 it gets better. heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, trisexual, pansexual, polysexual or asexual, it gets better. your stuck with being gay. if thats who you are then you might as well love it.

  • The irony is that Jesus says exactly nothing in the Bible about homosexuality, and doesn't seem to be particularly concerned with people's sex lives in general, except for a few scattered words and the incident where he stopped the people from stoning the adulteress. St. Paul is responsible for the statements against homosexuality in the New Testament. As for the Old Testament...yes, it has several anti-gay lines, and also condones genocide and slavery, so I wouldn't even bother going there.

  • Dan is SO good! He tells it like it is with wit and humor, and relly cuts throught the BS.

  • @ouch2112 Sadly, I fear that in 50 years, those camps will still be around.....just operating under a different name.

If there was EVER an organization that was like a dog with a bone, it's Christianity. They just won't give it up even when they are wrong. Look how long they've been trying to push ID even when it's been proved to be creationism.....and they STILL want it taught in schools.

  • @gobblegobbleup *yawn* I'm so tired of that saying... it's become just another excuse to be judgmental without admitting to it, therefore making people guilt-free! Hurrah! Not trying to argue with you, just arguing against that statement in general.
