Again LSU and Arkansas would repeat as team champions in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field. LSU would have eleven titles in eleven years while Arkansas would have six titles in six years. No team has repeated LSU's women's championship feat and the last time a men's team won six straight Outdoor Track and Field Championships was 1949--1955 when USC won seven straight titles.
