Polka Dots and Moonbeams was composed in 1940 and it launched Frank Sinatra to stardom. This version by the Lettermen is an updated version of the old time favourite(which I had also uploaded). Not many people has heard of this version, except for die-hard fans of the Lettermen....are you one?

  • last time i heard this song was when i was in high school 44-45 years ago. a classmate (he has passed away; god rest his soul) who introduced me to the music of the lettermen got hold of a 45 rpm with this song on one side... yeas, this brings back memories of high school crushes...

  • Oh, my goodness! I haven't heard this since the early sixties! Wonderful. I had the album this comes from. An easy favorite for me --- and it was a favorite when I was fifteen years old, too!
