@EnigmaHood I see.
Some movie hosters existed before youtube such as MetaCafe. Well I don't really trust Meta cus my McAFee shows a red X
-
@zaxtor It wasn't on youtube, this was before youtube existed... Some website somewhere.
-
@EnigmaHood I see probably got axed down because youtube can become very dictative even toward educational videos.
-
@zaxtor I can't remember, it was many years ago.
-
@EnigmaHood Also what is link to that video.
I need it to expose what kind of people trappers are.
I am making a page called trapping and it exposes all the horrific things and darkside of trapping.
Also even some hunters oppose trapping such as Footloose Montana.

@EnigmaHood Some of them will skin alive.
They are type of people who without the laws will do nasty things.
Check Ohio the state with the worst animal welfare on Earth. They allow tooted traps and trappers use traps with teeth, same for Alaska. If example they allow to exterminate endangered species they will do it.
Some even wants to make their own laws, allowing toothed traps, allowing longer wait time and more.
They are very zoosadists, I have watch them like a hawk for nearly a decade.

@zaxtor Yeah I saw a video where the animal was skinned alive and then it was laying on a stack of others, and they were all still breathing and dying slowly. It made me so angry, you have no idea. All those trappers and fur traders deserve to die.
-
@EnigmaHood Is in China they skin them alive.
Animal spends 24 to 72 hrs in the trap depend state law. The thing they say they are calm is a lie, they look calm because they are exhausted to death by the struggle in the trap. I even saw video of it, disturbing
Trappers they club, stomp & beat the animal.
They rarely use guns because it makes a hole, blood and devalue the fur. They mostly hide their method ow they dispatch. I pretended to be one of them and asked how they do it and was grewsome.
-
@zaxtor Fur I oppose completely because they come from animals that aren't eaten for food, and I've seen videos where they actually strip the fur off of the animal while the animal is still alive. It makes me sick.

@EnigmaHood Forgot to say I don't oppose wool because the sheep isn't kill for it
Also they don't put toxic chemicals in wool.
Wool is like wires you can sew them together without having skin to hold it.
So no need for formaldehyde nor chromium.
I have a small animalsanctuary with 67 animals. They get the best stuff, have very large cages and so on. But I bet that when I open the door only a few will stay, like my dog. Maybe some come back for food but they would prefer the outside. How would you call this? They avoid pleasure (good and much food, shelter, company, large room) in this case. Some animals can't be tamed, they continue want their freedom. But I understand what you mean. No animal can make a nuclear bomb or wage wars.

I agree that animals have no concept of abtract ideas or can do higher mathematics. But tests have shown that even with the basic needs many animals still choose to be free instead of being kept between 4 walls. I do think that animals know the difference between life/death. Some, not all, animals are self conscious, they recognize themselves in a mirror. In many buddhist and animist cultures animals are seen as equal; they know emotions and are living, spirited beings like humans thus equal.
