  • Beautiful performance. Music transcends ANY boundary- even the political. Music is universal.

  • I was in tears when I saw the older man in 2:57 trying to hold his back. The song probably reminds him of his younger days...possibly a time where Korea was united...possibly a past love...who knows

  • No! How could the piccoloist come in a semitone sharp?! Otherwise, an awesome rendition of an awesome piece!

  • I would hate to mess up in front of this conductor...

  • "Just as there are many stars in the clear sky,

There are also many dreams in our heart."

  • 4:58... it is absolutely amazing

  • Very enchanting......I love it.

  • Don't understand why NK would bring in the Philharmonic, seeing as having a seat in that symphony is the embodiment of the American dream; doing what you love for a good living. Not many musicians can do that. And if Americans are called filthy imperialist pig-dogs, why show them in DPRK? The answer: it doesn't really matter, since everyone in the audience is just a hypocritical party official enjoying another perk of his/her involvement in the party.

  • beautiful

  • Really moving. Hope people in North Korea can live a free and happy life one day. Best wishes.

  • Please let Kim Jong Il's death bring about unification!

  • Ah, the sweet sound of capitalism.
