the church should go back to this kind of music instead of trying to popularizing it like gospel and charismatic music. i feel that by doing so, the solemnity of the mass is preserved.

at every Latin Mass I've ever attended (now weekly for the last 3 or 4 years) the Epistle and Holy Gospel is read in English before the homily

@temujin0911 The Order of the Mass shows the English/Latin translations of what is taking place in the tridentine mass. After all most people who go to the old mass do not go out of a concern of knowing what the priest is saying. Today unfortunately the priest says the mass in vernacular and most people still don't know what on earth took place in mass. The benefit of the tridentine mass is that it attracts people by its reverence and silence. I understand what happens in it despite the Latin.
