MonsterQuest is a guilty pleasure of mine. I've always liked shows about monsters and legendary animals (Unsolved Mysteries, Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World, In Search Of...) but usually they're all somewhat more cerebral than MonsterQuest. MonsterQuest I watch just to get mad at, because it takes this material and makes it so damn stupid (and it's not all that intelligent to start with).

This segment was a pleasant exception. In an episode on werewolves in America they showed a video that was supposed to show a werewolf attack in the 1970s. It's freaking awesome. Well done, sir.

  • Damn. I really want to find some werewolf footage now.

However awesome the werewolf costume looks, I could tell it was a guy in a costume the instant it started moving. Werewolves don't move like that!

  • @shitflinger Years of experience.

  • The first vid is genius....the second vid not so much.

  • @sexipapi dude this video was actually created in 2008 not in the 70s -___- watch that episode of monster quest and they'll explain everything

  • Nowhere find Hairs or other details of this Wolf....Nothing is REAL

  • @TheSarazzPrime i was ticked off when i found out he did this by watching this video. i was looking for some evidence of werewolf mythology, as in that interest me as well along with big foot, ufos, ghosts and what not. so i was ticked because i thought i found some video footage. though like you said it did look like odd movement for it supposed to be a werewolf.

  • Fuck they actually had me fooled

  • lol

  • wow if he could do that imagen what they can make now 0_o

  • When I originally saw the Gable Film, I freaked the fuck out. Literally freaked out watching it. I love werewolf mythology, always have and always will.

However, the more I watched the animal start charging I kept thinking that it had to be some sort of primate, like a baboon or gorilla just from the strange movement in how it started running kind of sideways. And yet watching this... I couldn't help but feel horribly disappointed to know it was a hoax.

  • wow!!!! these guy is a total genius..... with such little resources he made this film great!!!!.....

  • its teeth is obviously looks like a gorilla teeth.... not a wolf....
