Sky News Interview: Tamil Protesters London Parliament Square

Thousands of Tamils have taken over Parliament Square in a demonstration against the Sri Lankan government's offensive against Tamil Tigers. Victoria Gatenby explains the background to the protest.
The government has designated the area a "no-fire" zone to protect what the United Nations estimates are 100,000 civilians trapped there.
In recent months, the military have ousted the Tamil Tiger rebels from their strongholds in an all-out offensive the government hopes will end the island's 25-year-old civil war.
The rebels have been fighting to create an independent homeland for ethnic minority Tamils, who have faced decades of marginalisation by successive governments controlled by ethnic Sinhalese.

Tamils in TamilEelam are desperatly fighting for Freedom and libration of NorthEast TamilHomeland since 1981. Why is this western world not involving directly to stop the Genocide caused by Sinhala Srilankan Goverment on Tamil Minority?
