White Girl Don't Pray

I really don't get it. A good number of my family is agnostic/deist/non-religious (some are religious, although they don't really act like it, and kinda keep to themselves - we even had at least one pagan that was there) - and even those who are religous kinda keep to themselves and don't really pray before meals or anything. What I don't understand, is for those that are non-christian, why they bent over backwards to do this prayer thing - perhaps they thought it was out of respect... but it just seems disrespectful to me, for them to want me to pray, knowing I don't buy into the hocus-pocus.

Thoughts or even explanations to why you would do it?

@DickLodge68 Nobody outside of religion prays and you shouldn't force prayer on others who don't believe in it. If she didn't want to pray to god or the flying spaghetti monster or whatever, that's HER decision and people should respect that. You're totally over reacting.
