Jerusalem's Temple Mount (The Urban Simulation Team at UCLA)

A reconstruction model of the Herodian Temple Mount developed in conjunction with the Israel Antiquities Authority was installed in 2001 at the Davidson Center in the Jerusalem Archaeological Park. A second model that shows the site during the Umayyad period was unveiled in 2007. The Urban Simulation Team at UCLA is a research group exploring applications for real-time visual simulation in architectural design, urban planning, emergency response, and education.

The Temple Mount is called Har Moriah in the Hebrew bible or "Land of Moriah" and the Walls surrounding it were built as retaining walls by Solomon, and then rebuilt by Herod.

No, it cannot be built to accomodate any considerations except the Torah, as God commanded His prophets where to build the altar, and if a sacrifice is offered in any other imprecise location, it is not accepted. And the altar for the third temple will be built precisely in front of the Holy of Holies, which is now covered by the Golden Dome.

This is not a "politically correct" operation, which has as its goal anything other than the Will of Heaven. But His Will brings peace
