Fishing for Walleye / Pickerel in the Winnipeg River in the Lake of the Woods area of Ontario - looking for supper. I was trying out my new Creative Vado pocket video camera as a "dash cam" on my boat. This is my first fishing video with this camera and I have learned a few things that will help improve my future videos.

  • Where I fish "keeper" size is between 35 and 45 cm ( 13.75 - 17.75 inches) plus you are allowed to keep one walleye over 70 cm ( 27.5 inches)

  • In the summer where I fish I am usually fishing for walleye in 25 to 45 feet of water. They can be found shallower too - especially early in the morning (when I am sleeping!) and later in the evening.
