DIY Personal History Documentary from Your Story Here LLC.
Beverley D. reflects on her lives in Australia and the US in the Opening sequence and Chapter 1 of her video biography.
Beverley D. is one of a growing number of people choosing to record their personal histories on video in personal documentaries.
Combining on camera interviews, personal and archive images, historical footage and text, graphic and music elements, subjects can have their personal histories come to life in a custom documentary which enlists the interest of all the generations.
Personal history documentaries do not necessarily replace written memoirs - often the subject who has written a biography chooses to then tell their story on film. That is what Beverley decided to do. (The interest and accessibility of the documentary often excites interest in the written memoir.)

Beverley, I was disappointed when the ten minutes were up... I wanted to hear more! What happened to your parents? Why didn't your father build the house your mother wanted? What made you decide to leave Australia? Your insights are compelling -- I am eager to see the full documentary. Thanks for letting me see this preview...Deborah
