@zzGRENDELzz Tom Rush wrote and sang it in 1968. the Walker Brothers cover was 70s, 1976 I think. Midge Ure's version was 1982. One of those songs that will last.

As a musician, this classic is a pure joy to play. The structures and melody compliment each other throughout the entire song from start to finish. Along with the lyrics, you can listen to this gem and never get sick of it. In my opinion, this is about as true perfection as one can get. Thank God there are not many songs like these, it makes you realise just how important song writers like Tom Rush are.
