  • This band sucks. And the drummer is a liar and a cheat because when I called him up after he replied to my advertisement to get a songwriter, he said he'd work with me, but then blew me off and gave my e-mail address to spam sites. Do not go to him for any songwriting help because he won't be honest and he won't deliver any of his promises. Furthermore, he'll give you a high phone bill because he refuses to answer his calls and them makes lame excuses every time

  • @KSE828 i hear that. and even though rise has some good talent. a lot of those bands go through the "joey sturgis breakdown machine" and all come out sounding over produced and similar. memphis may fire was amazing, then once sturgis got a hold of them, it turned into the same thing they did to woe is me, of mice and me, attack attack etc... but it doesnt mean i cant enjoy it!

  • @theRev767 ...Yet all I hear about is people bitching about "Oh X record label signs bands that all sound the same," and "Y record label signs bands that have absolutely no talent" and blah blah blah. Case in point is Rise Records. I myself happen to think that they're the best record label around and they have a lot of great bands. Others however, disagree. It pisses me off. ITS ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE in terms of new musical discoveries. People need to realize it and start enjoying the music.

  • @KSE828 troll! haha, kidding. there would be no reason for them to be there if they didnt like it. its a hard life, and the point of the pyramid is getting sharper cause it costs so much for a label to fund a band for studio time and tour. theyre limiting the amount of bands from certain genres that they accept. sort of a best of the best thing. you used to be able to just mail press kits in to get interest. now its only reputation or ingenuity that will get you noticed.

  • @theRev767 True, bands are in it for the money. But their also in it because they love doing what they do. Would you devote time, money, and effort into something you didn't like doing? Of course not. Now stop calling me a troll.

  • @KSE828 there are a lot of bands that are coming out that still employ screams, but they arent making near the amount of money that they would have 7 years ago. and contrary to popular belief, bands are in it for the money. cant tour, record or play good gear if you're broke... there are a lot of people that still like screams (me) and im sure will always like them, but the money is going in a different direction. i know that scream bands are popular now, but im talking about market trend, troll

  • @theRev767 If you think screaming is on it's way out than you've had your head up your ass for the past....oh I dunno year or so.... There are PLENTY of new bands that utilize screams.

  • @NevrSayDie24 yea in the very beginning. it's like there was more bass in the beginning

  • does anyone else hear a compression problem on the recording?
