I think the criticism you've had is completely unjustified and telling of our overly sensitive, box-ticking, label-loving generation; people seem to forget there's a subculture/fetish that actually pursues straight guys. Whether that was the case or not (he might have just been persistent and stupid), you're entitled to want to remove yourself from an uncomfortable situation. Hmm ok this is how i see it's that that complicated...alex is not homophobic or was he rude at all. Some of you say he would of acted different if it was a girl who was presistent, um of course!, cause it was a girl! You guys are taking this the wrong way I think. He even said he had gay friends so obviously he doesn't feel unconfortable around all homosexuals. Just the ones who hit on him. Even when someone of the opposite sex comes and hits on the average person, they are (this is just my view) 60% nervous, 35% flirty and 5% unconfortable. AT LEAST.
