A dialog scene from B.Nirnburgs Solaris, filmed in 1968. Dialog scenes is what I miss in Tarkovsky´s and Soderbergh´s versions of Solaris. The first and mostly unknown screen adaption of Stanislaw Lem´s novel Solaris, includes a lot of brilliant dialogs and is much closer to the book than her followers.

Quote: Stanislaw Lem in Golem XIV: „A stupid human being, in his intellect, is closer to an ape than to Albert Einstein.“

  • Didn't know there was another interpretation of this book. Wish I spoke Russian and German, Babel-Fish anyone?

  • Ok, you are right, for me it´s not the problem I speak German Russian English and French. So I try to make english subs for it soon so that others can understand it too ...but my english isn´t very well.

  • wow, it'd be nice if it was available on dvd, but its highly unlikely.

  • No, it´s not available on dvd, even not in russia. So let´s hope for the future that maybe someone from west will relase it soon.

-but the movie is absolutely unknown, so this hope might be an illusion.

  • Thanks, this is the beautiful movie.

  • does someone know, where I can get this film? need it for an scientific-work.

  • Please post the whole film.

  • @ "xnopak": If you want to make this movie famous, why don't you post the whole film. I've (untill now) only seen the Tarakovsky version of 1972, but i would like to see this version. So please, post the whole film, the would be great! Thanx!
