On this short video it's me behind the wheel in 35-45 knot winds just south of Grand Banks, New Foundland. We are sailing with the PR boat in Volvo Ocean Race - the Farr65R Celeste - http://www.farr65r.com. Filmed by Fredrik Monfrino.

  • Nice work carljarnling... sailing the Volvo PR boat put you in the same mush the racing boats saw... 35 knots of offshore breeze is livin' life on the edge--great for you! It looks cold out there too. Sail on!

  • fuck that. you guys are nuts! i hail your ballsiness

  • @jeffisstoned "We are sailing with the PR boat "

  • You mean 65 foot....

  • i thought the volvo was all open 70s

  • I want to do this someday.

The North Atlantic run is an awesome ride.

Is this a 65 meter boat?

  • awesome! so is it the keel that keeps the boat from tipping over?

  • Good seas to yoy lads! brave and fortune!

  • I have a very good sense of balance (used to do lots of ballet) and I come from a family with strong maritime connections (powerboat and yachting in recent years) that swell absolutely no problem! Great Video, really enjoyed it!

  • Love it...
