You're right in saying its not 100% machinima. However, it uses Machinima technology for the background. But just because its not a machinima doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. I don't see why you make a big deal with this video. Arby and the Chief uses a similar idea of mixing machinima with live action. So there's no need to make a big fuss over it.
