Visited N.B. many times (Dad was from Chatham). Just visited in August.. always feels like going home. Raised in Hamilton Ont, but my heart's in N.B. Wish I could make a living there. Dad's gone, miss him, N.B and the wonderful memories. Miss warm, friendly people, too. Thanks for the video!
Continuing... then u realize they might not be around that much longer.
The first thing that strikes you as you leave the airplane is the lushness and humidity. It's a kinda of like a warm blanket of your past. Hated it when I lived here but it nice on vacation.
And then the drive home and you notice that things haven't changed much. Must be Moncton.
Now time passes on and the parents are gone.
Ah how we take the present for granted. Oh I wish I had those 5 years back. Miss u Dad.
This brings back some a lot memories over the years. After flying 4 hours to toronto then the hour and something to toronto. Your glad to get off the flying tin can. Then comes the rush of feelings meeting the parents or the sister. Every time the parents get older the sister seems wiser. Especially if you have put off the visit for more than a couple of years.
I see planes takeoff/land often, I can see them from my house!
