@MiniTrindon8 It used to be easy for him but he's 70 now. In an interview, Lundquist said that it would be hard to get him back to NFL football because there is nothing like a day of college football.
@rjpsuh06 its gonna be hard for him if hes doing a college game that saturday then someone has to rush him to the NFL game that next morning... thats somewhat hard
Anymore Verne Lundquist shows? It's great. If Verne Lundquist had this voice for real, then Verne would be the voice of CBS Sports, not Jim Nantz. Verne would be the #1 NFL broadcaster instead of the #1 SEC guy. Verne, except for a few years in the mid-90s, has been at CBS since 1982, three years before Jim Nantz came. Verne was the former voice of the Dallas Cowboys and he did a lot of NFL on CBS in the 80s and 90s. It sucks that for CBS NFL 50 this year, Verne won't do any NFL games.
@rjpsuh06 oh no doubt i mean as an lsu season ticket holder its crazy every game

The next two guests for the Verne Lundquist Show should be his former partners on CBS NFL the recently retired John Madden and Terry Bradshaw.
