I respect and love President Kennedy as well. I'm a proud Republican, but Kennedy was one of the best Presidents ever. God Bless him.

JFK is immortal, untouchable, and surreal. It's what he stood for. He wanted give faith and truth to the American people in what they perceived as a corrupt government. His vision to stand up and defy the evils of Soviet Communism were justified, and right. He believed in civil and equal human rights for every American and of every race and creed. He lept the country into a successful race to the moon. He founded the Peace Corps. in order for Americans to give back to the world. He was Camelot.

@yyyhenry and what ppl forget he was only in office 2 years and 10 months. if obama died or resigned from office he would be remembered only for being the 1st black american pres 100 years from now. its also strange to see the lack of quality presidents we've had the last 45 years compared to the previous 50. after JFK there was LBJ Nixon Ford Carter Reagan Bush Clinton Bush Obama none of them were even close 2 great. the previous 4 were FDR Truman Eisenhower and Kennedy. 50yrs of bad leadership

What a man ! President Keneday is a voice of progress. He has left behind lots of legacies. Looking back into that era gives me an inspiration that one day I would live to see the Can-do Spirit and the New Frontier happening in my own country.

Thank you Thomas Winters for the lovely tribute. There are some very insensitive "tributes" (Kennedy526) to JFK but this a wonderful, respectful tribute.

He was hero especially to Irish Catholics who he paved the way for in this country. God Bless him.
