U.S. Rep. Biggert urges her colleagues to support H.R. 2, which would repeal the Administration's misguided health care law and begin the process of replacing it with bipartisan reforms that don't raise taxes, cripple economic growth, and endanger high quality care.
@markga8 Expanding HSAs will add accountability to the process and allow patients who have a degree of fiscal responsibility to afford the care they really need.
Buying insurance across state lines, expanding health savings accounts, and restricting our right to our day in court if we are injured by shoddy medical care will do nothing to cut costs, doesn't improve care or insure more of the over 50 million who have no coverage today. These suggestions were panned by the CBO and were rejected in the formulation of the bill for good reason. They don't fix the problems with our system, they only protect profits of insurance cos. and bad doctors.
Nonsense Liberlucis. HSAs are little more than another tax break for folks who can afford to pay for facelifts on their own.
