runehede You need to stop telling a fan that they can't have an opinion. I am a Canadian and my Uncles fought to liberate you and your country so that you are able to have an opinion. Just think what life would be like of they hadn't. Probably no YouTube. Everyone its ok to express your opinion so long as it is not a personal attack. ZamnDamn's comments are based on Ciaran's performance so that's ok.

@inxshello Okay, my fault I took it so personally and gone too far. Off course people are right to have their own opinion. :-) But still, it can't be based on only one song, we all have to view the things in a context before you see a big picture. I was at the gig, that's why I argue for it. ;-)

Once again. No stage presence. No passion in his voice. He just stands there. Ciaran is not a lead singer. INXS I think you will soon realize just how much fans have been turned off with the band. Starting with the whole JD thing in 2009 its gone very downhill. The only way to salvage this is to get into the studio and record new music with Ciaran. Hopefully it will be really really good. Because if it isn't I think it might be the end of INXS.

@ZamnDamn You had only seen this clip, and then you blame him for just standing?!? You can't base this on only one song! This was the opener of the gig, and why he was standing was to let the original members be in front. Trust me, he walked around the stage on the whole show, chatted with the croud (incl. me) and made a GREAT performance in the whole gig! :-)

Stop talking negative, I think you didn't joined the gig in Amsterdam. If you was there, you can share your opinion! ;-)

@inxshello He didn't say you can't have an opinion. You need to stop taking offence to people disagreeing with you. If you're gonna post on every video about how shit Ciaran is, then be prepared to take criticism. As for your Uncles... well done you, they fought to liberate the country, not for their nephew/grandson/whatever to use it against people. Freedom of speech, providing it doesn't go against your agenda eh?

I personally think that since Hutch's passing, the band is simply playing for the enjoyment of the fans. Ciaran Gribbin is respecting the band's presence as a band, and not showboating. Now, Hutch on the other hand, is a one-of-a-kind performer that showcased EVERYTHING: band's raw energy, his own raw energy, the explosiveness of their music (after all, if it wasn't for Hutch's singing talents, a lot of the songs would not be hits...). So, I tip my hat to Ciaran and patiently await their album.

I am 20 of his year inxs fan, but I cannot accept this alignment. jd did not receive a criticism this much from the fans, than Gribbin

@fjinxs Disagree with you, but of course you have the right to have a different view. :-)

In my opinion: Ciaran fits so much better with INXS. He pays tribute to Michael, :-) that JD not did, what I don't understand why? I can't remember JD ever did it, maybe I had heard just once. Ciaran's voice is more clear and clean, sometimes I think JD was false in the songs live, specially 'Pretty Vegas'. And Ciaran also show a very big respect for the original band members, and specially the fans. :-)

INXS will decide when it's gonna be the final curtain, no one else. Nobody can expect INXS to be the same as 20 years ago. They want to move on and they have the god damn right to do so. In my opinion Ciaran's got a great voice and is developing his stage presence with every gig he's doing. It's certainly ok that there are people out there, who have a different opinion, I respect that. But, Ciaran works hard to help keep INXS alive and he respects the band. Finally it's a band again.
