Nagpur Dharna for Men's Welfare Ministry- PIF, Mumbai & SIF

This Dharna was conducted in Nagpur by Save Indian Family Foundation, Nagpur Chapter and Protect Indian Family Foundation, NGO, Mumbai, on 27th July 2008.

This DHARNA was for demanding a "MEN's WELFARE MINISTRY" & to stop misuse of IPC 498(A), Domestic Violence Act (2006) and other misuse-prone women-protection laws, by suitably amending them and by rectifying the flaws in their execution by the Police and Judiciary.

During 2004 to 2007 more than 1,20,000 women themselves were arrested without any investigation or evidences under IPC Sec.498A(just one among the so-called 'women-protection' laws!).

These are the same women-protection laws which imprisons women themselves apart from senior citizens(5000 arrested in 2006 alone), Minor Children(300 arrested in 2006) and more than 4.13 lakhs men were arrested - YES, without ANY EVIDENCE or INVESTIGATION... They were all arrested just on the basis of complaint by a vengeful wife, and 98% of them were false - only 2% conviction in 498a cases: Source Center for Social Research(CSR) report.

seriously i havnt seen ANY of cases where the 498a filed was adjourned FAKE by the authorities!!! this way all sec 498a women are right and deserved to be burnt in hell

we couldn't be lived and have to commit suicide or do crimes because of feminism if we have no protection ,even now lot of boys are afraid to marry because of legal terrorism they are afraid of their money and aged parents

My wife has filed n no of harrassment cases. I was jailed for 7 days. Its been 2 years. Who will give me justice. Justice delayed is justice denied.
